Thé matcha

This matcha tea is obtained in the pure respect of Japanese tradition: it is the tender leaves of a tea tree protected from the sun, called Tencha, which are reduced to a very fine powder using a stone grinder. Its color is intense green. Its "umami" flavour develops powerful aromatic notes of plants and nuts with each sip. It is prepared by taking a small quantity of matcha using a bamboo spoon called Chashaku, which is placed at the bottom of a bowl, before adding water at 70°C. The matcha is then diluted in water with the traditional bamboo whisk, called Chasen, until a lump-free tea is obtained. The matcha powder can be used in many different ways : baking, cocktails, milk shakes, chocolates... It is also a dietary food by excellence, whose antioxidant properties are appreciated.
